**Engineering Lead - System Testing** **Description** Responsibilities: The Engineering Lead System Testing oversees system-level integration, verification, validation, and calibration activities across the V-Model in a global development and customer project workplace. The role provides technical leadership for the local System Testing team, dotted-line leadership for the CAE team, and close collaboration with global engineering units, cross-BU partners, and external development teams. Lead Responsibilities * Lead and coordinate local System Testing activities, mentor engineers, and ensure alignment with global project objectives. * Represent the System Testing domain and area of expertise to internal and external stakeholders. * Provide dotted-line leadership for the local CAE team (cost center topics, purchase requests, vacation approvals). * Drive cross-functional alignment within TIPL, identifying process interfaces and improvement opportunities. * Coordinate system testing and integration topics with external engineering partners. * Collaborate with Textron Business Units to leverage shared facilities and harmonize test methods. Core Responsibilities * Develop and execute System Integration, Verification, and Validation in line with V-Model and ASPICE SYS.2-SYS.5 in globally distributed projects. * Review and analyze stakeholder requirements and system architecture to ensure completeness, consistency, and testability. * Define, document, and maintain System Test Strategies, including test levels, methods, coverage objectives, test concepts, and entry/exit criteria.



* Develop and review system-level test specifications and test cases. * Select, build, and commission system test benches with instrumentation, DAQ, control, and communication interfaces. * Align test configurations and collaborate on HiL and test bench environments with global teams. * Develop automated test execution, evaluation, and reporting (e.g. vTESTstudio, Python, Jenkins) and integrate into CI/CD pipelines. * Analyze results, assess coverage, document deviations, and create comprehensive test reports. * Ensure bidirectional traceability between requirements, tests, defects, and release artifacts. * Support configuration management, release readiness, change control, and issue resolution. * Plan and coordinate system validation (EE, mechanical, environmental, durability) across global test sites regarding quality. schedule, and cost targets. * Ensure bidirectional traceability across requirements, test cases, defects, and release artifacts. * Support configuration management, release preparation, change request handling, and problem-resolution processes. Requirements: * Technical engineering degree (mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable).



* Proven leadership experience, preferably gained in a global working environment (2 years). * Extensive experience in automotive system testing and validation (7 years). * Strong cross-domain understanding of mechatronic systems and automotive architectures. * Practical experience with HiL systems and/or system-level test benches. * Proficient in automotive communication technologies (CAN, LIN, etc.) and Vector tools (CANoe, CANape, vTESTstudio). * Experience with ASPICE and ISO 26262 processes preferred. * IREB CPRE or ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level) advantageous. * Willingness to travel (customer meetings, test drives, plant visits, external labs).
