**What you will do:** + Lead the design, architecture, development, integration, and testing of complex software components and systems, translating user and clinical needs into robust technical solutions. + Provide technical leadership and mentorship, driving design decisions, code reviews, engineering best practices, design patterns, SOLID principles, and high-quality software development. + Collaborate with R&D; cross functional team, Quality and Project Management teams to deliver products through the complete development and release lifecycle. + Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement through technology exploration, prototyping, process improvements, and contributions to invention disclosures, patents, and technical documentation. **What you need:** **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. + 10+ years of software development experience. + Solid expertise in Modern C++, OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and software architecture. + Experience building scalable, modular, and maintainable software components. + Hands-on experience with Qt/QML, Google Test (or similar), debugging, code coverage, and analysis tools.



+ Strong understanding of SDLC, software quality, testing, integration, and deployment. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, Git, Perforce, or similar version control tools. + Technical leadership experience, including architecture reviews, mentoring, and regulated software development (medical devices preferred); exposure to 3D mathematics, robotics, navigation, or imaging is a plus.
