**Description** This role partners with U.S.-based counterparts and internal stakeholders to maintain a strong control environment, meet recurring reporting deadlines, resolve variances, and drive continuous improvement across the Financial Reporting function. The position supports multiple legal entities and is responsible for month-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, cash, fixed-asset and lease accounting, reporting deliverables, audit support, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement. + Execute month-end close activities and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting in accordance with established schedules and controls + Prepare, review, and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and appropriate supporting documentation. + Extract, analyze, and interpret complex financial data from multiple sources to identify trends, explain variances, and generate actionable insights on corporate departmental overhead costs. + Prepare balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations; investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly. + Perform fixed-asset accounting activities and prepare related journal entries for multiple legal entities. + Prepare legal-entity reporting packages, CTI deliverables, equity roll forwards, annual footnote reviews, and entity tie-outs. + Review OnBase transactions for appropriate coding, approvals, supporting documentation, and compliance with company policies. + Support internal and external audits by providing timely status updates, complete documentation, and prompt responses to stakeholder queries. + Partner with U.S.-based counterparts and internal teams to manage dependencies, communicate risks, and complete recurring and ad hoc requests. + Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, enhance, and automate accounting and reporting processes; measure improvements in accuracy, cycle time, control effectiveness, and stakeholder experience.



+ Maintain and enhance monthly reporting templates to analyze financial results and key performance indicators, providing meaningful insights to leadership. + Perform daily and monthly cash-management activities for multiple bank accounts, including the preparation and recording of bank fees and interest income. + Support lease-accounting activities by reviewing new and modified agreements, entering key terms into the lease accounting system, and preparing monthly lease journal entries for multiple entities. + Actively contribute to annual departmental initiatives focused on innovation, efficiency, and process improvement. + Perform other ad hoc reporting, analysis, and month-end close activities aligned with the role's focus on financial reporting, business insight, and organizational success. **Qualifications** + Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or an equivalent professional accounting qualification, with up to two years of post-qualification experience. + Experience in financial reporting, record-to-report (RTR), or a related accounting function is preferred. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel + Demonstrated ability to identify and implement automation opportunities within accounting and financial reporting processes. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate variances, determine root causes, and resolve exceptions effectively. + Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance weekly, monthly, annual, and ad hoc priorities while meeting close deadlines. + Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with U.S.-based counterparts, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
