**Job Description Summary** The Heavy Duty Services Complex Gas OTR team owns the engineering execution of conversions, modifications, and uprates to the global installed fleet of GE Gas Turbines and associated Plant equipment. The Complex Gas Upgrades Senior Requisition Engineer will provide technical coordination for conversions, modifications, and up-rates on Gas Turbines and associated Plant equipment within the GE installed base. You will be responsible for managing the engineering project immediately after order conversion though installation. The requisition engineer owns scheduling, engineering definition, parts ordering, BOM / DWG approval, Field Modification Instruction (FMI) and resolution of technical issues during installation of assigned projects. **Job Description** **Essential Functions (Responsibilities):** **Provide technical coordination for conversions, modifications, including unit relocations and uprates on in-service Gas Turbine Power Trains and their BOP Mechanical/Electrical systems.** **Provide wing to wing support for proposals and projects from inquiry to remittance (ITR).** **Develop and monitor engineering project schedules to meet milestones defined by Project Management, GE Field Service and Customer.** **Communicate project scope to Engineering / Manufacturing / Sourcing / Field Service / Service Shop Personnel and Customer.** **Provide technical support to Engineering / Manufacturing / Sourcing / Field Service / Service Shop Personnel during project execution and installation.** **Deliver technical presentations to customers and other GE components.** **Maintain broad awareness of efforts within group to assure technical quality excellence, timely completion of work and reviews, appropriate use of resources, and responsiveness to customer / program needs.** **Promote professional growth of the global Requisition Engineering team juniors through coaching and mentoring.** **Ensure timely completion of all project objectives.** **Demonstrate accountability for functional and business objectives.** **Qualifications/Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, controls, or related) or equivalent practical experience. + 8+ years of engineering or field experience in power generation, with direct exposure to gas turbines and combined-cycle plant operations (peaking and CCGT configurations). + Demonstrated project engineering experience: schedule management, scope control, cost and risk management, and cross-functional coordination. + Ability to interpret and produce engineering documentation (P&IDs;, one-line diagrams, mechanical drawings, specifications, BOMs). + Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support project and site activities. **Eligibility Requirements:** + Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed For US Applicants: + Minimum 8 years of engineering or field experience on gas turbines For Non-US Applicants: + Significant engineering or field experience on gas turbines **Desired:** + Systems thinker - Able to understand,



adapt and anticipate the relationships of major equipment inside a combined cycle power plant. + Knowledge of BOP Electrical equipment.
