Senior Technical Lead - StavInsights Role Overview StavInsights is a critical capability supporting the Credit Card Program by normalizing vendor and payee data, matching it with Mastercard data, and exposing merchant identifiers, confidence scores, and eligibility attributes through APIs. The current team consists of a Product Manager and a junior developer. While the team can support product definition and implementation, additional senior technical leadership is required to own the solution architecture, data-matching design, API strategy, delivery planning, and operational readiness of the platform. The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for providing the technical vision, leadership, and accountability needed to deliver a scalable, secure, and high-quality solution. Key Responsibilities Own the overall solution architecture and technical delivery roadmap for StavInsights. Define and govern API design, integration standards, data models, and matching logic. Establish data quality, confidence scoring, and validation standards to ensure reliable outcomes. Lead technical design, development, and implementation activities across the platform. Provide mentoring and technical guidance to the junior developer and help strengthen the team's engineering capabilities. Develop realistic delivery estimates, milestones, and implementation plans, while managing technical risks and dependencies.



Collaborate closely with Card Engineering, Product, Operations, and Mastercard to align technical solutions with business requirements. Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, monitored, and operationally supportable. Drive engineering best practices, technical governance, and production readiness. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of software engineering experience, including experience in technical leadership roles. Strong background in solution architecture, API design, system integration, and scalable application development. Experience designing data-processing, matching, reconciliation, or analytics solutions. Proven ability to lead technical delivery, define implementation roadmaps, and manage cross-functional dependencies. Solid stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Product, Operations, and external partners. Preferred Qualifications Experience in payments, card services, banking, or financial services. Knowledge of Mastercard integrations or payment network ecosystems. Experience with cloud-based architectures, microservices, DevOps, and observability practices. Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and confidence-scoring models.
