Position: Production Supervisor

Location: Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Aurangabad

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise Jr. Executives, Executives, and shop-floor operators to achieve production, quality, delivery, productivity, and EHS targets.

• Prepare and execute quarterly, monthly, and daily production plans in line with customer requirements and business priorities.

• Ensure effective deployment of manpower, machines, materials, tools, and other resources for smooth production operations.

• Monitor shop-floor activities and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• Foster a strong quality and safety culture by ensuring compliance with EHS standards and proactively addressing unsafe conditions and quality concerns.

• Monitor and improve key manufacturing KPIs including productivity, FPY, rejection/rework, OEE, downtime, and quality observations.

• Provide technical and operational support to the shop-floor team, resolve day-to-day production issues, and ensure timely availability of required resources.

• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, automation, and digitalization initiatives to improve productivity, quality, safety, and process efficiency.

• Lead or actively participate in cross-functional improvement projects with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other functions.

• Monitor employee performance, conduct periodic performance discussions, identify skill gaps, and support training and skill development of team members.

• Conduct regular 5S audits, identify improvement opportunities, and motivate team members to sustain workplace organization and discipline.





• Ensure proper preparation, control, and maintenance of production and quality-related documents and records in accordance with ISO requirements.

• Identify recurring production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

• Stay updated on emerging manufacturing technologies, Lean practices, automation, and digital solutions, and support their implementation where applicable.

• Ensure effective communication of daily production priorities, issues, and performance to the concerned stakeholders.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.

• Typically 3–7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/production operations, preferably in a structured industrial environment.

• Valuable written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English.

• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques, including waste elimination and continuous improvement.

• Working knowledge of EHS requirements, safety procedures, and shop-floor compliance practices.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and engage teams to achieve common production and business objectives.

• Experience in handling improvement, automation, digitalization, and productivity enhancement projects.





• Ability to analyze production data, identify performance gaps, and drive corrective actions.
