Textile Sector Expert & Team LeadKPMG in India is seeking a seasoned Textile Sector Expert & Team Lead to support and lead strategic advisory engagements within the Government & Public Services (G&PS;) practice. The role will involve working closely with government departments, industry stakeholders, and ecosystem partners to drive initiatives aimed at strengthening the textile and apparel sector.Key Qualifications:- MBA or Specialized Master's Degree in Textiles from a recognized institution, preferably ranked among the Top 100 institutions under NIRF.- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in the textile sector.Experience & Expertise:The ideal candidate should possess demonstrated experience in:- Textile, apparel, and garment manufacturing industries.- Global and domestic textile market standards and best practices.- Planning, development, and operationalization of industrial parks, with specific exposure to textile parks.- Emerging technologies, innovation,



and sectoral advancements in the textile ecosystem.- Export promotion and export-oriented sector projects, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.- Working with Central and State Government departments/agencies for a minimum of 3 years.- Managing complex stakeholder relationships across government bodies, industry associations, private sector entities, and other ecosystem participants.Key Competencies:- Solid leadership and team management abilities.- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.- Strategic thinking with the ability to deliver advisory and implementation support on large-scale sector development projects.- Strong understanding of government programs, policy frameworks, and industry development initiatives.
