Job DescriptionKey Skills: Technical Writer, Simplified Technical English(STE), DITA, DDLC, Automotive DomainRoles & Responsibilities:- Develop Operators Manual (OM), Workshop Manual (WSM), Assembly Instruction (AI) and related Annotated Topic List (ATL).- Access Engineering Systems and gather material for content creation.- Update ATLs if information is insufficient.- Update the manuals based on ECNs- Review the drafts created and publish them- Update ATL for latest known translation requirements.- Global Process support for other Tech Information teams.Educational Qualification:- BE/BTech in Mechanical/Automobile Engg- 4 to 6 years of experience in Technical Writing,
preferably in Automotive Domain.- Certification in Technical Writing would be an added advantage.Required Skills:- Familiarity with agricultural euipments/automobile parts/components is helpful.- Experience working with electrical schematics will be an added advantage.- Should be able to understand Mechanical Drawings, 3D Models and Orthographic Projections.- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills- Ability to create/modify illustrations using Adobe Illustrator.- Should be well-versed with Windchill, Arbortext Editor, CreoIllustrate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign- Should have sound knowledge in automotive parts and their applications.- Should be a quick learner and should be able to work independently with a minimum supervision.- Should have valuable customer handling skills
