Role: Senior Architect
Location: Bandra, Mumbai
Timings: Monday - Saturday, 10 to 7
Overview:
We are looking for an architect with 3-5 years of experience who is passionate about design and has a genuine interest in luxury residential architecture and villa projects. The role calls for someone who can move comfortably between design thinking and technical resolution, from developing a concept and exploring a façade to resolving a detail and seeing it through on site.
Responsibilities
- Developing architectural concepts and design proposals for luxury villas and residences.
- Translating design intent into accurate plans, sections, elevations and detailed drawings.
- Developing architectural details with a strong understanding of materials, construction and craftsmanship.
- Working on façade development, material palettes, proportions and architectural elements.
- Coordinating with structural, MEP, landscape, interior and other consultants.
- Preparing and managing detailed drawing packages through various stages of the project.
- Attending site visits and working closely with contractors and consultants to resolve design and execution issues.
- Reviewing drawings and site work to ensure that the design intent and quality are maintained.
- Taking ownership of assigned projects and deliverables from design development through execution.
- Working closely with junior architects and contributing to the overall design process of the studio.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of professional architectural experience.
- A strong interest in luxury residential and villa architecture.
- A refined design sensibility and an appreciation for proportion, materiality and detail.
- Strong architectural drawing and detailing skills.
- A good understanding of construction and how design translates into built form.
- The ability to think independently, take ownership and solve problems creatively.
- An eye for quality and a willingness to push a design beyond the expected.
