About the Company

A Bangalore-based private civil construction company undertaking building and infrastructure projects across India. The company executes high-rise residential and commercial buildings, industrial projects, railway works and other civil construction projects, with project exposure across Bangalore, Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab/Himachal Pradesh and other locations.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Site Accountant to independently manage day-to-day accounting and financial documentation at construction project sites across South India.

The role involves site accounting, petty cash and imprest management, vendor and subcontractor billing, payment documentation, reconciliations, labour-related financial records, GST/TDS documentation and coordination with the Project Manager, Stores/Purchase teams and Head Office Accounts Department.





The position requires full time presence at the project site. Candidates must be willing to relocate and work at construction sites anywhere in South India for the duration of the project assignment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain complete day-to-day accounts for the construction site.

Record site receipts, payments, expenses, advances and journal entries accurately in Tally/ERP.

Maintain site cash book, petty cash, imprest and supporting vouchers.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly site expense and accounting statements.

Verify vendor and subcontractor bills against purchase orders, work orders, invoices, measurements/certifications and supporting documents.

Coordinate processing of supplier and subcontractor payments with the Project Manager and Head Office Accounts Team.

Maintain and reconcile advances issued to vendors, subcontractors, employees and site staff.
