1. Take independent charge of the Raichur CMHP and deliver all
outcomes as per the approved three-year project plan.

2. Build community ownership of mental health care through
sensitisation, SHGs, a taluk-level federation and trained volunteers.

3. Ensure quality community-based mental health services to PWMIs and
caregivers.

4. Improve adolescent mental well-being across 20 schools and
pre-university colleges

5. Establish livelihood and economic empowerment pathways for PWMIs
and caregivers.

6. Ensure high standards of accountability through monitoring,
documentation, donor reporting and optimum budget utilisation.

7. Build and retain a competent, motivated project team through
training, mentoring and supportive supervision.

Develop and execute a sustainability and exit




plan for handover of CMHP services to the community and government systems.

Requirements

• Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent post-graduate
qualification in a relevant discipline.

• Knowledge of government systems and schemes relevant to mental
health and disability

• Understanding of SHG formation, federation building and
community mobilisation.

• Knowledge of assessment tools, psychosocial assessment scales
and evidence-based practices in mental health.

• Understanding of monitoring and evaluation processes, and
reporting standards.

• Valuable computer skills, including data presentation and use of
digital documentation tools.
