Location- Chakan, Pune

Role & Responsibilities-

- Hands-on experience in Estimation within a project-based manufacturing industry.

- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Zero-Based Costing.

- Candidates should be immediate joiners or have a notice period of not more than 30 days.

Capabilities-

Ability to work independently with minimum guidance

Must read/ understand manufacturing drawings, RFQ Drawings / 3D drawings.

Conversant in MS Office Word, Advanced Excel and Power point preferred.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting with a focus on technical excellence, responsiveness to meet timelines.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

-

Ability to work in teams with strong team management and leadership skills.

Knowledge and experience in ERP systems, Epicor preferred

Skills & Qualifications-

- Techno-commercial role involving team leadership and individual contribution, overseeing the entire project costing cycle-from development cost estimation to evaluating product cost-effectiveness and profitability.

-

Prepare competitive quotations based on the customer scope provided by the Sales or Project team, applying technical expertise to achieve optimum cost without compromising essential requirements.

-

Analyse and interpret customer inputs such as renderings, drawings, and technical specifications to accurately develop project cost estimates.

-

Identification, quantification of all project cost factors,



such as production time, materials, tools, labour expenses, and any other costs associated.

-

Coordinate with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Production, Engineering and Projects team to ensure the accurate and timely estimation of new projects.

-

Review estimates prepared by team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with defined scope of work.

-

Collect, analyse actual project data to compare estimation vs actual cost for identification of critical cost escalations, profitability.

-

Collaborate with other teams to provide inputs on cost reduction strategies based on analytics, recommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable or sustainable.

Document records for all project proposal and associated activities.

-

Stay connected with projects, engineering, and production teams for costing updates/ escalations throughout the project lifecycle.

Incorporate best industry practices on product costing, engineering practices to streamline and provide best estimates.

-

Market knowledge of logistics and installation will be an added advantage.
