Department: Welding (QA/QC)

Team Size: 4 to 8 Individuals

Location: Maroli, Surat

Responsibility

- Preparation of new PQR and WPS in line to job requirements with respect to ASME and U-stamp codes Section VIII, Division 1 / Section V, Section IX
- Preparation of Shop Weld Plans, weld maps, etc. in line to job requirements.
- Hands on experience of GTAW, SMAW, GMAW and SAW welding procedures.




- Qualification of Welders and welding operators.
- Perform and interpret Dye Penetrant Testing (DTP), Film interpretation and report, Interpretation of Ultrasonic Test

- Preparation of Radiography Test
- Communication in regards to welding and NDT/NDE with Clients, Third parties and Authorized Inspector.

Education

- Diploma /B.E. /B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering

- NDT Level II

Experience

- 7-10 years of experience in experience in ASME Certified pressure vessel manufacturing / heavy engineering organization.
