Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VMC Programmer capable of independently handling programming, setting, production planning, and operation of multiple VMC machines. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets, quality, machine utilization, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize VMC CNC programs using Fanuc/Siemens/Brother or similar controllers.
- Handle programming for multiple VMC machines and different component requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies.
- Perform machine setting, tool offsetting, prove-out, and first-piece inspection.
- Plan and monitor production as per daily/weekly targets.
- Allocate jobs and operators across multiple VMC machines for optimum utilization.
- Monitor cycle time, rejection, rework, OEE, and productivity.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, dimensional, and programming issues.




- Optimize programs to reduce cycle time and improve tool life and productivity.
- Coordinate with Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Production teams.
- Ensure proper 5S, safety, machine maintenance, and process discipline.
- Maintain CNC programs, tooling records, setup sheets, and production documentation.
- Train and guide VMC operators and junior programmers.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in VMC programming, setting, and production management.
- Good knowledge of G-codes, M-codes, CNC tooling, fixtures, and machining processes.
- Experience with Fanuc/Siemens/Brother controllers preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC milling, drilling, tapping, boring, and contouring operations.
- Ability to independently handle multiple machines and production priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and OEE will be an advantage.

Qualification ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or relevant technical discipline.

Candidate Profile

- Ability to independently manage programming as well as VMC shop-floor production.
- Solid leadership and team-management capability.
- Male candidate preferred.
