QA & QC Manager Aerospace

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA & QC Manager to lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for aerospace manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product, process, and documentation compliance with customer requirements, engineering drawings, AS9100D requirements, and applicable aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage incoming, in-process, final, and pre-dispatch inspection activities.
- Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the AS9100D Quality Management System.
- Review engineering drawings, GD&T; requirements, QAP/QIP, process flow, inspection plans, and customer quality requirements.
- Review and approve CMM reports, dimensional inspection reports, final inspection reports, and quality records.
- Prepare, review, and approve AS9102 FAIR / FAI documentation, including balloon drawings and characteristic accountability.
- Handle NCR, MRB, deviations, concessions, CAPA, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Monitor customer complaints, internal rejections, rework, and supplier quality performance.
- Ensure compliance of raw material certificates, special process certificates, COCs, and calibration records.




- Conduct internal, supplier, process, and product audits.
- Manage supplier quality for machining, fabrication, heat treatment, surface treatment, and other outsourced processes.
- Ensure traceability, configuration control, revision control, and proper documentation throughout manufacturing and inspection.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Methods, Supply Chain, and Customer Quality teams for resolution of quality issues.
- Lead QA/QC Engineers, Inspectors, and CMM personnel and support their training and competency development.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, customer complaints, and Cost of Poor Quality.
