Role & responsibilities

- Monitor and inspect civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

- Conduct inspections of reinforcement, formwork, concrete, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, and other construction activities.

- Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and inspection procedures.

- Raise and follow up WIR/IR/MIR and coordinate inspections with the consultant/client.

- Inspect incoming construction materials and verify material approvals, test certificates, and compliance with project specifications.

- Monitor concrete activities, including slump tests, cube sampling, concrete pouring, curing, and compressive-strength test results.

- Review construction drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical specifications.

- Monitor corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure of NCRs.

- Coordinate with team,



and project management teams regarding quality issues.

- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports, material records, and other QA/QC documentation.

- Conduct regular site quality inspections and identify potential quality problems before they affect the work.

- Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved method statements and ITP requirements.

- Assist in internal quality audits and support implementation of the project Quality Management System.

- Maintain proper documentation and traceability of inspection and testing activities.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

- Experience - 3-5 years

- Relevant experience in construction QA/QC.
