- Code Assignment: Translate diagnoses and treatments into standardized ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Facility Leveling: Determine appropriate emergency department E/M facility levels based on nursing documentation, resources used, and charging guidelines.
- Service Review: Accurately capture charges for critical care, observation services, procedures, and infusion/injection administration.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Maintain high quality standards (typically above 95% accuracy) while adhering to NCCI edits and payer regulations.
Required skills 1+ years of experience in ED Facility/ E&M; (IP/OP) medical coding
Certification is mandatory location : Chennai shift : Morning Shift
