Roles & Responsibilities

- Incoming Quality Inspection
- Inspect raw materials such as solar cells, glass, EVA/POE, backsheet, frames, junction boxes, etc.
- Verify material specifications and quality against approved standards.
- Record inspection results and identify defective materials.
- In-Process Quality Control
- Monitor quality at different stages of module production, such as:

- Cell stringing

- Layup
- EL inspection

- Lamination

- Trimming

- Framing
- Junction-box fixing

- Final inspection
- Ensure operators follow work instructions and quality procedures.
- Identify defects and stop/escalate production when necessary.

- Final Quality Inspection
- Check finished solar modules for visual and dimensional defects.
- Verify parameters such as module appearance, labeling, dimensions and electrical test results.
- Support EL, IV/flash-test and other inspection/testing activities.

- Defect Analysis
- Identify common defects such as:

- Cell cracks

- Soldering defects

- Misalignment





- Bubbles/delamination

- Glass scratches

- Frame defects
- Junction-box issues
- Help determine the root cause using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone and Pareto analysis.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain inspection reports, rejection/rework records and quality check sheets.
- Prepare daily/shift quality reports.
- Maintain traceability of production and quality data.
- Corrective & Preventive Action
- Participate in CAPA activities.
- Follow up on corrective actions for recurring defects.
- Work with Production, Maintenance and Process Engineering teams to reduce defects.
- Quality Standards & Safety
- Follow plant SOPs, work instructions and quality procedures.
- Support compliance with standards such as ISO 9001 and applicable solar-module standards.
- Follow EHS and workplace safety requirements.
