We are looking for a confident, knowledgeable and result-oriented Visa Counselor who can guide clients professionally throughout their study visa and visit visa journey.

About the Role

As a Visa Counselor, you will be responsible for counselling students and clients, understanding their requirements, explaining suitable visa options and supporting them throughout the application process.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong client-handling ability and a good understanding of international education, visa documentation and counselling processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and clients regarding study visa and visit visa options.
- Understand the applicant's academic background, career goals, financial profile and travel requirements.
- Recommend suitable countries, universities, courses and visa pathways based on individual profiles.
- Explain visa requirements, documentation, timelines and application procedures clearly.
- Conduct follow-ups with prospective students and clients through calls, WhatsApp and email.
- Assist applicants in preparing and organising visa documentation.
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Coordinate with admissions, documentation and processing teams.
- Support students with university application and admission-related queries.




- Guide applicants regarding offer letters, deposits, scholarships and other university requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, applications and follow-ups.
- Update clients regularly regarding the progress of their applications.
- Handle client queries professionally and build long-term relationships.
- Convert qualified enquiries into successful applications and enrolments.
- Work towards individual and team performance targets.
- Stay updated with visa rules, university requirements and immigration-related changes.

Candidate Requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing and customer-handling abilities.
- Good understanding of overseas education and visa processes.
- Ability to communicate confidently with students, parents and professionals.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Good documentation and organisational skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, email, CRM systems and online application portals.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Professional attitude and strong problem-solving ability.
- Previous experience in overseas education, immigration, visa counselling or education consultancy will be preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in the overseas education industry may also apply.
