Video Editor Wanted — Long-Form Educational Content (Freelance)

I'm hiring a mid-level video editor for a financial literacy and trading education YouTube channel, to work on 20-30 minute long-form videos published on an ongoing basis.

About the content:

Videos are educational concept pieces combining screen recordings (chart/market analysis), talking-head or voiceover narration, and occasional B-roll. The goal is a structured curriculum that takes viewers from foundational to institutional-level understanding.

Responsibilities:

- Turn raw footage/screen recordings into a polished, engaging edit
- Add captions, graphic overlays, and emphasis effects where needed
- Manage pacing and cut flow to keep viewer retention high
- Follow timecoded edit notes provided for each video
- Meet agreed delivery deadlines

Requirements:

- Proven experience editing long-form content (podcast, educational, or documentary style) — portfolio required
- Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Comfortable working with screen recordings and financial chart/graph visuals
- Working proficiency in English for explicit, responsive communication
- Reliable, open to feedback, and responsive to revision requests
