Role Description The Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based at The DOT Institute in Rewari.

The Video

Editor will edit lecture recordings, promotional videos, and social media content to support educational and marketing initiatives. Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, adding graphics and motion elements, performing basic color correction, and integrating audio for clear and engaging output. The role involves collaborating with faculty and the marketing team to plan video concepts, maintain a consistent visual style,



and ensure timely delivery of content.

The Video

Editor will also manage media files, maintain an organized asset library, and suggest creative ideas to improve viewer engagement and brand presence.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience handling end-to-end video workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look and feel.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and integrate Graphics to support educational explanations and branding.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
- Solid understanding of basic audio editing, file formats, aspect ratios, and social media/video platform requirements.
- Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced academic environment.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work closely with educators, marketing staff, and management.
- Relevant certification or diploma in video editing, multimedia, film, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in education or coaching institutes is an advantage.
