About the Role

Planning Labs is looking for a Video Editor to turn footage into engaging reels, event highlights, brand films and promotional content. We are looking for strong storytelling, clean editing and an understanding of pacing.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit social media reels, event aftermovies, interviews, promotional videos and brand content.
- Review footage and select strong moments to build a clear story.
- Add captions, music, sound effects, transitions and branded graphics.
- Handle basic colour correction, audio cleanup and sound balancing.
- Adapt videos for vertical, square and landscape formats.
- Work with the creative and client servicing teams to understand briefs and implement feedback.
- Organise footage, project files and final exports.
- Deliver edits within agreed timelines while maintaining quality.





What We Are Looking For
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or a comparable editing tool.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, music selection and visual continuity.
- Ability to create engaging short-form videos with explicit opening hooks.
- Basic motion graphics skills; After Effects knowledge is an advantage.
- Attention to detail in captions, audio levels and export settings.
- Relevant experience is preferred. Freshers with a strong showreel or sample edits may also apply.
