Key Responsibilities:

- Provide overall academic and administrative leadership to the University.

- Lead institutional planning, development and implementation of the University's vision and strategic objectives.

- Establish and strengthen academic schools, departments and programmes.

- Ensure compliance with applicable UGC, State Government and other regulatory requirements.

- Lead recruitment, development and retention of faculty and senior administrative teams.

- Promote excellence in teaching, research, innovation and industry collaboration.

- Guide development of academic policies, regulations, ordinances and institutional systems.

- Strengthen quality assurance, accreditation readiness and continuous institutional improvement.

- Develop academic collaborations and strategic partnerships.

- Oversee student admissions, academic administration, examinations and student support systems.

- Represent the University before regulatory authorities, government bodies, academic institutions and other stakeholders.





- Build a solid culture of integrity, professionalism, transparency and academic excellence.

- Lead the University through its establishment and long-term institutional growth.

Eligibility:

- Distinguished academician with an outstanding academic and professional record.

- Minimum 10 years of experience as Professor in a University, OR equivalent senior-level experience in a reputed academic/research/academic-administrative organisation, as applicable under prevailing regulations.

- Ph.D. and strong academic/research credentials.

- Demonstrated experience in academic leadership and institutional administration.

- Strong understanding of higher education governance and regulatory requirements.

Desirable:

- Experience in establishment/development of a University or higher education institution.

- Experience with UGC/regulatory compliance and accreditation.

- Strong research, academic networking and institutional development record.

- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
