VFX Artist – Roto, Wire Removal & Cleanup

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled VFX Artist with strong experience in wire removal, green-screen cleanup, tracking, rotoscoping, compositing, and paint work.

The ideal candidate should have a good eye for detail and be comfortable working on film, commercial, and digital content requiring professional-quality VFX cleanup and compositing.

Key Responsibilities

- Remove wires, rigs, cables, harnesses, markers, and unwanted objects from footage.
- Perform green-screen cleanup and remove unwanted green spill, tracking markers, and screen imperfections.
- Handle roto and rotoscoping for characters, objects, and complex shots.
- Perform 2D/3D tracking and match-moving where required.
- Track shots accurately for cleanup, compositing, and replacement work.
- Perform paint and cleanup using frame-by-frame techniques when necessary.
- Clean up green-screen edges, reflections, shadows, and unwanted elements.
- Remove dust, scratches, rigs, crew members, equipment, and other unwanted elements.
- Handle compositing and integration of VFX elements into live-action footage.
- Work on titles, text, logos, and graphics integration within footage.
- Perform screen replacements, object replacements, and background cleanup.
- Maintain proper edge quality, motion blur, grain, color consistency, and realistic integration.
- Follow project specifications, naming conventions, and delivery requirements.
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality output and meeting deadlines.

- Blackmagic Fusion / DaVinci Resolve

- Mocha Pro / Mocha AE
- Silhouette
- Blender or other 3D software is an advantage

Candidate Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good understanding of VFX production workflows.
- Ability to analyze a shot and choose the appropriate cleanup/compositing technique.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple shots.
- Good sense of timing, masking, edges, tracking, and visual consistency.
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Showreel / portfolio is required.

We are looking for someone who can take a raw VFX shot and deliver a clean, production-ready shot, with minimal supervision.
