HIRING | UI/UX DESIGN MANAGER

We are looking for a UI/UX Design Manager to own the design function across AI’s SaaS product portfolio.

This is the senior-most design role in the organization, reporting directly to the CEO. You will define design strategy, lead a team of 5–8 designers, oversee design across 7–8 concurrent projects, and partner closely with Product, Engineering, Brand, Marketing and leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Own the design vision, strategy and quality bar across the SaaS portfolio
- Lead and develop a 5–8 member design team
- Manage hiring, 1:1s, performance reviews, career development and team growth
- Drive design across 7–8 concurrent products/projects
- Partner with Product & Engineering leadership on roadmap, scope and priorities
- Represent Design at the CEO and leadership level
- Own design systems, UI consistency and cross-product experience
- Review and guide the team’s work before release
- Personally contribute to strategic explorations, current-product launches and high-impact initiatives when required
- Build and scale the design function as the company grows

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS 6+ years of UI/UX experience with 3+ years in Design Management

Non-negotiable:

- Proven experience managing a team of 5+ designers
- Prior experience in an IT / SaaS / Technology / Product company
- Strong expertise across both UI & UX
- Experience setting design strategy across multiple products/product lines
- Proven ability to manage 7–8 concurrent projects
- Advanced Figma — Components, Variants, Auto Layout, Libraries & Plugins
- Hands-on experience with AI design tools in real-world projects
- Strong design systems, interaction design and responsive design expertise
- Strong UX skills across research, user flows,



IA and usability
- Excellent communication with CEO, Product & Engineering leadership
- Senior-level portfolio mandatory

1. Senior-level personal design craft

2. Team-led work and design leadership

3. Design strategy across products

4. What you personally drove and what changed under your leadership

Portfolios showing only individual design work, without meaningful team-management or strategy experience, will not proceed to the preliminary round.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience building/scaling a design function
- AI/ML or non-deterministic product design experience
- Design Operations / Design Systems experience
- Multi-brand / multi-product experience
- Formal design education or equivalent professional depth
