Minimum Qualification

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)

- Preparation and execution of Turbine assembly shop plan - monthly.

- To monitor work progress by PDCA method and finalize the job handover dates to the packing shop.

- To arrange skill-based manpower and necessary machines, positioners to achieve targeted LE & OE and TQM parameters and plan to achieve the parameters mainly hydro test, mandrel, clearance setting, and module measurements.

- To ensure no waiting time by availability of shop resources: tooling, fixtures, measurement instruments, machines.

- To check the shop record sheets and check sheets filled by workmen and supervisor.

- To ensure effective implementation of IMS management systems.

- Doing project delay analysis: plan vs actual, finding reasons for delays using PDCA method.





- Doing brainstorming with Manufacturing and QC sections for process improvement and control.

- Providing suggestions to the design department for design-related improvements to reduce cycle time.

- Doing assembly of Turbine & generator parts as per Overhauling site team requirement.

- Doing assembly scope of work in refurbishment work as per the scope of Purchase Order.

- To achieve the EHS objective by controlling unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and periodic reviews of HIRA.

- Controlling usage/shop disposal of hazardous waste like oil-soaked cotton, plastic, chemical cans, paint drums.

- Achieving the target of Safety by enhancing 5S score and SPI- Safety Performance Index at shop floor & office.
