Role Description of Tools Engineer Do:

- Deploy the release of new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain and perform testing of PC/server operating systems, networks, and related utilities and hardware.
- Troubleshoot problems as reported by users, support Web access and electronic messaging services, and maintain a secure systems workplace.
- Provide infrastructure solutions based on application needs and anticipated growth, install new servers, and maintain the infrastructure.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and other technical colleagues across all functional areas.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
- Enhance knowledge of production monitoring and additional capability, supporting one or more systems or applications of low to medium complexity (complexity defined by size, technology used, and system feeds and interfaces) with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer with expertise in Splunk, OpenTelemetry (OTEL), AWS Cloud, Scripting, and Jenkins CI/CD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and supporting enterprise observability platforms, implementing telemetry solutions, automating operational processes, and enabling reliable cloud-native monitoring across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise monitoring and observability solutions using Splunk.
- Implement and manage OpenTelemetry (OTEL) instrumentation, collectors, and telemetry pipelines for logs, metrics, and traces.
- Configure and optimize data ingestion, indexing, dashboards, alerts, and reports in Splunk.
- Develop automation solutions using Python, Shell, or PowerShell scripting.
- Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize observability platforms and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with application teams to define monitoring and operational requirements.
- Automate deployment, configuration management, and operational workflows.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support production environments and ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
