Position: Tool Designer Location: Plot 197, Sector 8 IMT Manesar, Haryana

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Tool Designer to design and develop manufacturing tools, jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, and gauges as per production requirements. The candidate will work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective tooling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design jigs, fixtures, molds, dies, gauges, and special-purpose tools
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software
- Study product drawings and manufacturing requirements for tool development
- Select appropriate materials, tolerances, and machining methods
- Coordinate with production and tool room teams during tool manufacturing and trials
- Modify and improve existing tools for better productivity and quality
- Ensure tooling designs comply with quality and safety standards
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials)



and technical documentation
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to tooling issues
- Maintain design records, revisions, and engineering documentation

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, UG NX or CIPET (Tool Designing)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling concepts
- Knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawings

Preferred Skills

- Experience in die, injection molding, fixture, or jig design
- Knowledge of CNC machining and tool room operations
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Valuable communication and teamwork abilities
- Understanding of cost optimization and process improvement

Experience

- 5 - 8 years of experience in tool design or related manufacturing industry
