Job Summary

Safiya Travels is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ticketing Staff to join our Trivandrum branch. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in international and domestic air ticketing, with advanced proficiency in Galileo and Sabre GDS systems. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end booking process, ensuring accuracy in fare calculations, and providing exceptional service to our retail and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Booking & Issuance: Create and manage PNRs, issue, re-issue, and validate tickets for domestic and international flights using Galileo and Sabre.
- Fare Management: Calculate complex fares, handle seat selections, and manage baggage policies according to airline regulations.
- Post-Booking Services: Process ticket cancellations, modifications, re-routing, and refunds efficiently.
- Client Support: Respond to inquiries regarding flight schedules, fares, and visa requirements; provide travel options that meet client needs.
- Coordination:



Liaise with airlines and suppliers to resolve booking issues, schedule changes, or disputes.
- Accuracy & Compliance: Ensure all bookings comply with IATA regulations and company policies, maintaining exact records of all transactions. ​

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Ticketing Staff or Reservation Agent in a reputable travel agency.
- GDS Expertise: Advanced hands-on experience with Galileo and Sabre is mandatory.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of international fare rules, IATA standards, and airline ticketing policies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Education: Graduation or Diploma in Travel & Tourism or a related field; IATA certification is a plus.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
