Zaruro is an on-demand home and office services platform connecting customers with trusted professionals for services such as home cleaning, appliance repair, AC services, maid services and other everyday needs.

We are looking for energetic and highly motivated Business Development Executives who are comfortable working on the ground and building Zaruro's local service network.

Job Role

As a Business Development Executive Field Sales & Partner Onboarding, you will be responsible for expanding Zaruro's presence in your assigned area by visiting markets, meeting service professionals and businesses, generating leads, explaining the Zaruro platform and onboarding service partners.

This is a 100% field-sales role. The candidate must be comfortable spending most of the working day in the field.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit assigned areas daily to identify potential service professionals and business partners.
- Generate leads through direct market visits, references, local networking and cold calling.
- Meet electricians, plumbers, AC technicians, cleaners, appliance technicians, maids, handymen and other service professionals.
- Explain Zaruro's business model, benefits, onboarding process and earning opportunities.
- Convince qualified professionals to join the Zaruro platform.
- Complete partner onboarding and collect required KYC/documentation.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective partners until successful onboarding.
- Build strong relationships with local service providers.
- Identify new markets, residential areas, societies, commercial locations and local businesses for expansion.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly onboarding targets.
- Maintain accurate lead and onboarding data in the company's CRM/app.
- Coordinate with the operations team to activate onboarded partners.
- Support local promotional activities, campaigns and market activations.




- Provide regular market feedback to the management team regarding competition, pricing and customer/service-provider requirements.

What We Are Looking For:
- Robust communication and convincing skills.
- Comfortable with hardcore field sales and daily market visits.
- Should be energetic, self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Must have the confidence to approach strangers and initiate conversations.
- Good negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Basic smartphone and app knowledge.
- Ability to work independently in the assigned territory.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
- Previous experience in field sales, business development, merchant acquisition, vendor onboarding, delivery platforms, home services, fintech or marketplace businesses will be an advantage.

Important Requirement This is NOT a desk job.

The selected candidate should be ready to spend most of the working day in the field, visiting potential partners, generating leads, conducting meetings and completing onboarding.

Candidates who are not comfortable with daily field visits or face-to-face sales should not apply.

Compensation

Fixed Salary

Incentives: Performance-based incentives on successful onboarding/activation.

Additional: Travel allowance/reimbursement as per company policy.
