Job Summary

Balwaan Krishi is looking for a Business Development Executive / Lead to handle GeM, government tenders, e-tendering platforms, FPO opportunities, and institutional business development.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and track business opportunities on GeM and government e-tendering portals.
- Handle the end-to-end tender process, including RFP analysis, documentation, bid submission, clarifications, follow-ups, and result tracking.
- Identify and develop business opportunities with FPOs, government departments, PSUs, and institutions.
- Analyze tender requirements including eligibility, technical specifications, BOQ, EMD, turnover, experience, and compliance.
- Prepare and coordinate technical & commercial bid documents, quotations, and proposals.
- Coordinate with Sales, Technical, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams for timely submissions and execution.
- Handle BIS & FMTTI reports and GeM order processing.
- Maintain records of tenders, FPO opportunities, submissions, results, and business pipeline.
- Prepare regular reports on tender activities and business development.

Required Skills





- Hands-on experience with GeM and government tender processes.
- Knowledge of CPPP, state e-procurement portals, and other tendering platforms.
- Understanding of tender documentation and compliance requirements.
- Positive communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in FPOs, GeM, government sales, institutional sales, agri/rural business, or B2G business development is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with BIS & FMTTI reports and GeM order processing will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with relevant skills and a strong understanding of GeM/tender processes are encouraged to apply.

Education Graduate in Business Administration, Commerce, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field.
