Medical Telecaller – Patient Counselling & Conversion

About the Role

We are looking for a confident and motivated Medical Telecaller / Patient Counsellor to join our healthcare team.

The candidate will be responsible for calling potential patient leads, understanding their requirements, explaining relevant surgical procedures in straightforward language, addressing their basic queries, and converting genuine leads into doctor consultations and scheduled surgeries.

This is a patient counselling and sales-oriented healthcare role. Strong communication and convincing skills are important.

Key Responsibilities

- Call potential patients/leads generated through online and offline marketing.
- Understand the patient's medical requirement and concerns.
- Explain the relevant surgical procedure, treatment options, benefits, expected recovery, and basic precautions as per the information provided by the doctor/clinic.
- Answer basic patient queries and build confidence and trust.
- Follow up with patients who have shown interest but have not yet scheduled a consultation or procedure.
- Convert qualified leads into consultations and surgeries.
- Coordinate with patients regarding consultation and procedure appointments.
- Maintain proper records of calls, follow-ups, patient interest, and conversion status.
- Coordinate with the clinic team to ensure smooth patient handling.
- Follow up with patients after consultation when required.
- Achieve monthly calling and conversion targets.





Candidate Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi preferred.
- Previous experience in telecalling, healthcare, medical sales, patient counselling, insurance, or hospital/clinic sales will be an advantage.
- Should be confident speaking to patients over the phone.
- Should have good convincing and negotiation skills.
- Should be comfortable explaining medical procedures in simple, easy-to-understand language.
- Should be target-oriented and capable of converting leads.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain patient records.
- Graduate preferred.

Important The candidate does not have to diagnose patients or provide independent medical advice. Medical information and treatment-related guidance will be provided according to the doctor's/clinic's protocols.
