TANSAM is looking for an experienced Tecnomatix Plant Simulation Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and strong knowledge of simulation and strong knowledge of SimTalk 2.0 to develop, modify, validate, and analyse simulation models for manufacturing and logistics systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain discrete-event simulation models using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.

- Develop and debug SimTalk 2.0 logic for material flow, routing, buffers, resources, AGVs, workers, and production systems.

- Perform throughput, capacity, bottleneck, utilization, cycle-time, and WIP analysis.

- Conduct what-if studies and identify opportunities for process and resource optimization.

- Validate simulation models using actual production/operational data.

- Prepare simulation experiments and analyse results to support engineering decisions.

- Prepare simulation reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.

- Work with manufacturing, production, logistics,



and industrial engineering teams.

Required Skills

- 2+ years of practical experience in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation.

- Good knowledge of SimTalk 2.0, including Methods, Tables, Attributes, Events, Routing and Control logic.

- Strong understanding of Discrete Event Simulation and material-flow concepts.

- Knowledge of manufacturing and logistics processes.

- Understanding of KPIs such as Throughput, Utilization, Cycle Time, WIP, Waiting Time, and Bottlenecks.

- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in automotive/manufacturing simulation.

- Knowledge of AGV/AMR, warehouse, and material-handling simulation.

- Basic knowledge of VDI 3633 simulation methodology.

- Knowledge of Excel/Python for data analysis is an advantage.
