SEO Executive: Strategy, Development & AI Content

Massive Impact is a Kolkata-based digital marketing agency serving escape rooms, event venues, and SaaS businesses across the US, UK, Australia, and Europe. We build websites, run ads, and handle SEO for all of them, in-house.

The Role

You'll own the SEO work that actually moves client rankings, keyword and competitor strategy, on-page execution, citation and profile management across every client, monthly reporting, and you'll be able to get your hands into the actual codebase, WordPress or React, when the work calls for it, using AI tools to move quick without cutting corners.

What You'll Do

- Run keyword research, keyword mapping, and competitor analysis, and turn it into actual on-page and content priorities for each client.
- Handle on-page and basic technical SEO across client websites: titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, schema, and general site health, using AI coding tools like Claude Code to speed up bulk checks and fixes.
- Make front-end fixes and small builds directly in our WordPress and React/Next.js sites when the SEO work needs a code change, not just a brief handed to someone else.
- Build and maintain citations and business profiles, including Google Business Profile, for every client, and keep them accurate and consistent over time.
- Use AI tools to write SEO content, such as blog posts, location pages, and service pages, and publish it directly on client websites.
- Prepare monthly SEO performance reports:



rankings, organic traffic, and what changes next, for each client.

Must Have

- Real hands-on experience with keyword research, keyword mapping, and competitor analysis, not just execution off someone else's keyword list.
- On-page optimization and basic technical SEO fixes.
- Practical experience managing citations and business profiles, including Google Business Profile and directory listings, for multiple clients, keeping details accurate and consistent.
- Working knowledge of WordPress: can make on-page and content edits directly.
- React or Next.js and Node.js at a real project level, not tutorial depth, able to make an actual code change and understand what it does.
- Real, hands-on experience using Claude Code, or a similar agentic AI coding tool, for actual work: bulk technical checks, small scripts, or automated fixes. This is one of the things we're weighting most heavily, so be ready to be specific about what you've actually built or automated with it.
- Genuine daily use of AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT for content and research work, not casual or occasional use.
- Can put together a clear, client-ready report from Google Search Console, GA4, and a rank tracker.
- Confident written English. Most of our clients are in the US.

Nice to Have

- Working knowledge of Postgres or another relational database.
- Familiarity with citation or local SEO tools such as BrightLocal or Whitespark.
- Working knowledge of Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.
- Experience with local, booking-led businesses: escape rooms, event venues, or similar.
