About the Role

CAIR Actuators & Valves is looking for a Sales Engineer to develop business for industrial valves, electric actuators, motorized valves and related flow-control and automation products.

The role involves identifying potential customers, understanding technical requirements, preparing quotations, coordinating with customers and internal teams, and following opportunities through to order completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop current business opportunities in industrial and engineering markets.
- Visit customers, consultants, OEMs, EPC companies and industrial project sites as required.
- Understand customer applications and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Prepare and follow up on enquiries, quotations and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with the technical and execution teams for product selection and technical clarifications.
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers and develop new customer relationships.
- Track enquiries from initial contact through quotation, negotiation and order.
- Follow up for purchase orders and payment-related requirements when required.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, enquiries, quotations and sales activities.
- Achieve assigned sales and business-development objectives.
- Travel within the assigned territory as required.

- Electric Rotary Actuators
- Multi-turn Electric Actuators
- Electro-Mechanical Linear Actuators
- Motorized Valves
- Pneumatic Cylinders / Power Cylinders
- Industrial Valves
- Knife Edge Gate Valves
- Valve Automation and Retrofitting Solutions

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant industrial technical-sales experience may also be considered.
- 1–4 years of experience in industrial sales, technical sales, valves, actuators, automation or related engineering products is preferred.
- Basic understanding of industrial products and technical specifications.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to prepare quotations and understand basic commercial terms.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office / email.

Compensation ₹15,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant experience, plus applicable incentives.
