M Group Energy is looking for a talented Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team, supporting the delivery of overhead line and power infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a technically capable engineer with experience in transmission and distribution design who is passionate about delivering safe, compliant, and innovative engineering solutions. Produce overhead line designs using PLS-CADD and Tower software.

Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes, standards, and best practices. Maintain clear communication across engineering teams, project stakeholders, and the wider business. Work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality requirements.

Design Delivery

Develop practical and cost-effective design solutions that meet client and regulatory requirements. Support feasibility studies, assessments, and design reviews. Identify risks, constraints, and opportunities that influence project delivery. Liaise with clients, contractors,



and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated project outcomes. Minimum 2 years of experience in Overhead line design Robust understanding of engineering principles within a design environment.

Experience producing technical calculations, drawings, and engineering reports for overhead line design. Design experience within utilities, energy, infrastructure, or construction sectors. Ability to work independently while contributing to multi-disciplinary project teams.

Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers. You will play a critical role in delivering major energy infrastructure projects while working alongside industry-leading professionals.
