Role Description

We are looking for a Tax Litigation Lawyer with an Accounting Background to handle tax disputes, regulatory matters, and financial legal compliance. This is a full-time role based in Secunderabad. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax litigation before appellate authorities, tribunals, or courts, along with practical accounting knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

- Represent the company in tax litigation cases before appellate authorities, tribunals, and courts.
- Handle disputes related to Income Tax, GST, VAT, and service tax.




- Prepare and review tax filings, appeals, and legal documentation.
- Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and legal consultants.
- Ensure timely response to notices, demands, and litigation matters.
- Support the finance team in structuring tax-efficient business transactions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) and LL.B.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax litigation and appellate matters.
- Solid understanding of Indian tax laws, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
- Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with accountants and finance teams.
