Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced System Integrator / Controls Engineer with 6 years of hands-on experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), PLC, and SCADA systems to provide part-time job support.

The candidate will provide technical guidance and hands-on support for installation verification, startup, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, system integration, and documentation activities for commercial, industrial, and mission-critical infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently analyzing complex controls and automation issues, troubleshooting field devices and communication networks, and providing practical technical support to project and commissioning teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesBAS / EPMS / Controls Support

- Provide job support for BAS, EPMS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
- Support installation verification, startup, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Review and troubleshoot control programs and field controller configurations.
- Support point-to-point checkout and I/O verification.
- Troubleshoot controller hardware, sensors, actuators, instrumentation, and field devices.
- Troubleshoot communication and networking issues across integrated control systems.
- Validate equipment operation against approved sequences of operation and project specifications.
- Support L2 system verification and L3 troubleshooting activities.
- Provide technical guidance during Integrated Systems Testing (IST), Functional Performance Testing (FPT), and owner acceptance activities.

PLC / SCADA / Industrial Automation
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC and SCADA systems.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and MicroLogix.
- Support PLC program downloads, configuration, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Ignition SCADA is preferred.




- Troubleshoot industrial communication and integration issues.
- Work with protocols including:
- Modbus TCP/IP
- Modbus RTU
- BACnet/IP
- OPC UA
- Ethernet/IP

Building Systems The candidate should understand integrated building systems including:
- HVAC systems
- Chilled water systems
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Central cooling plants
- Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)

Technical Documentation & Support
- Review construction drawings, electrical one-line diagrams, control schematics, BAS shop drawings, and sequences of operation.
- Assist with technical documentation and commissioning reports.
- Maintain issue logs, punch lists, deficiency records, and corrective-action documentation.
- Support as-built documentation and field markups.
- Provide clear technical updates and troubleshooting recommendations.
- Assist with project closeout documentation when required.

Required Technical Skills
- 6 years of relevant experience in controls, automation, system integration, or commissioning.
- Strong hands-on experience with BAS / BMS.
- Experience with EPMS and electrical monitoring systems.
- Strong PLC startup and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with SCADA, preferably Ignition.

Job Support Expectations The selected consultant will provide 2–3 hours of support Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities in the job-support engagement may include:

- Reviewing ongoing technical issues.
- Providing troubleshooting guidance.
- Assisting with PLC/SCADA/BAS configuration and debugging.
- Reviewing sequences of operation and control logic.
- Supporting commissioning and testing activities.
- Helping diagnose communication and networking problems.
- Reviewing technical documentation and drawings.
- Providing technical guidance to junior System Integrators.
- Assisting with complex field integration issues.
- Supporting project teams with technical decisions and problem resolution.

Candidate Profile

Required: 6 years of hands-on experience in System Integration / Controls / Automation / Commissioning.

Ideal background: A senior BAS/Controls/PLC/SCADA professional who has previously worked on complex commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects and can provide part-time technical job support for 2–3 hours per day, Monday–Friday.

Pay: Up to ₹32,000.00 per month
