To independently carry out and coordinate pre-bid transmission-line survey activities for TBCB projects, including route assessment, alternative route analysis, crossing identification, RoW / forest assessment, preliminary tower spotting and PLS-CADD/GIS-based survey deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:





- Conduct reconnaissance and detailed transmission-line surveys independently.

- Study tender/RfP requirements and prepare route assessment and optimization.

- Evaluate alternative route alignments and identify major constraints.

- Identify and document railway, highway, river, transmission-line and other major crossings.

- Carry out RoW, forest, land, terrain and access-road assessment.

- Prepare preliminary tower spotting and tower schedules.

- Manage GPS/DGPS survey data, KML/KMZ and GIS data.

- Coordinate with field survey teams and independently verify critical locations.

- Prepare site photographs and photographic documentation.

- Identify major construction constraints and project risks.

- Prepare skilled technical survey reports and pre-bid survey deliverables.

- Details survey and walkover survey

Required Skills and qualifications :

- Having experience in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, ArcGIS / QGIS, Global Mapper, Google Earth Pro, MS Excel

- Qualification: B.E./B. Tech in Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering

- Transmission-line reconnaissance & detailed survey

- Route alignment & optimization

- Tower spotting, GPS/DGPS, Google Earth / KMLs / KMZ, AutoCAD / Civil 3D

- GIS / Global Mapper / QGIS
