Supplier Quality Planner - India

- Manage supplier quality performance for Stamping and Plastic commodity suppliers.
- Lead supplier qualification, assessment, and development activities.
- Hands-on experience in GD&T; and CMM report interpretation is a must.
- Review and approve PPAP submissions and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Support APQP activities from sourcing through program launch.
- Drive root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other quality tools.
- Monitor supplier KPIs including PPM, warranty claims, delivery performance, and audit findings.
- Lead containment activities and corrective action implementation for supplier quality issues.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams.
- Support change management processes and supplier readiness for recent launches.
- Tracking of problem solving, active participation in problem solving to close open items
- Reporting and Monitoring of supplier issues




- Active work with supplier to improve their skills to Brose needs
- Traveling on request inside India mainland, external to India if needed
- Provide problem solving techniques to the suppliers (PDCA)
- Communication and support of Customer Team activities (APQP, Supplier PPAP, etc.)

Professional Experience Experience with 8 - 12 years working experience in quality or quality assurance department in automobile industry or automobile suppliers preferably motor, electronics with Supplier assessment, component development and supplier interface as key area.

Understanding of Stamping & Plastic

Understanding of assembly process.

Knowledge in Seat Manufacturing Company is preferable

Skills Required

GD&T; and familiarity in read drawings

Capable to conduct Supplier audits

APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA

Knowledge of Stamping, and Injection MOulding process
