Job Title: Marine Store Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Marine Store Manager to manage day-to-day inventory and store operations at our marine and industrial supplies facility. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material movement, handling documentation, and assisting customers with identifying and selecting required products.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Inventory In and Inventory Out of marine and industrial materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records in the ERP system and ensure all material movements are updated promptly.
- Prepare and manage invoices, delivery challans, material issue notes, and other store-related documents.
- Coordinate with the sales and accounts teams regarding billing, dispatches, and material availability.
- Receive incoming material, verify quantities against purchase orders/challans, and update inventory.
- Issue materials against customer orders, sales orders, or internal requirements.
- Assist customers visiting the store in identifying and locating the products they require and provide basic product information.
- Maintain proper arrangement, identification, and labeling of stock for easy retrieval.
- Occasionally assist with packing, unpacking, loading, and unloading of materials.
- Check materials for visible damage or quantity discrepancies during receiving and dispatch.
- Coordinate with transporters and delivery personnel for dispatches and deliveries.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of store and dispatch records.
- Conduct periodic physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies with ERP records.
- Ensure the store remains clean,



organized, and properly maintained.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of inventory management and warehouse/store operations.
- Comfortable working with ERP software, Excel, and basic computer applications.
- Good understanding of invoices, delivery challans, purchase orders, and stock documentation.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and suppliers.
- Ability to identify and understand different marine, industrial, hardware, safety, and engineering products is preferred.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Physically comfortable with occasional packing, unpacking, and handling of materials.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for day-to-day store operations.

Preferred Qualifications

- 12th pass / Diploma / Graduate.
- Previous experience in marine stores, industrial stores, hardware, engineering supplies, warehouse, or inventory management will be preferred.
- Experience with any ERP/inventory management software will be an advantage.
