Key Responsibilities

- Material Receipt: Supervise receipt of raw materials, consumables, and spares; verify quality and quantity against purchase orders.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records, ensure optimal inventory levels, and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Storage & Preservation: Ensure proper storage conditions for steel coils, sheets, beams, consumables, and spares to avoid damage or deterioration.
- Issue & Dispatch: Coordinate timely issue of materials to production and maintenance teams as per requisitions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain GRNs, stock registers, and ensure compliance with audit, statutory, and company requirements.
- Coordination with Purchase: Work closely with the purchase department to update material availability, pending receipts, and vendor performance.
- ERP & Systems: Operate ERP systems for stock updates, material tracking, and reporting.
- Team Supervision: Guide store assistants and clerks, ensuring accuracy, discipline, and efficiency in store operations.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Ensure secure handling of materials, adherence to safety protocols, and proper housekeeping in store areas.
