Role Description The Store Assistant role at Abb India Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Kakori.

The Store

Assistant will support daily store operations, including receiving, checking, and organizing inventory, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring proper storage of electrical and electronic components. This role involves assisting internal teams with timely issuance of materials, coordinating with procurement and logistics for deliveries, and keeping the store area clean, safe, and well-organized.

Assistant will interact with colleagues and stakeholders to address material-related queries,



support basic documentation, and follow company guidelines on quality and safety. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting smooth operational workflows.

Qualifications

- Robust Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in Retail Sales or store operations, including handling materials, stock movement, and basic documentation.
- Organization Skills to manage inventory, maintain records, and keep the store area orderly and compliant with procedures.
- Ability to support Training activities, such as learning and following standard operating procedures and helping new team members understand store processes.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or ERP tools and comfort with MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow safety and quality guidelines in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, store, or logistics role, preferably in electrical or industrial products, is an advantage.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; vocational or technical training in storekeeping, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
