Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Store Manager / Dispatch professional to manage end-to-end store operations along with timely and accurate dispatch of goods. The role involves inventory control, staff supervision, and coordination with logistics, sales, and production teams to ensure smooth material inflow and outflow, on-time deliveries, and accurate documentation.

Key ResponsibilitiesStore Management

- Plan, organize, and supervise overall store/warehouse operations
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability while minimizing excess/obsolete stock
- Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of materials as per approved procedures
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP systems
- Conduct periodic stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies
- Implement inventory control practices (FIFO/FEFO, ABC analysis, min-max stock levels)
- Supervise, train, and manage store staff to ensure productivity and discipline

Dispatch Operations

- Plan and schedule daily dispatch of finished goods as per sales orders/delivery schedules
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of goods prior to dispatch
- Coordinate with transporters/logistics partners for timely vehicle placement and delivery
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents - invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, LR/GRN
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery to customers/branches
- Handle dispatch-related discrepancies, returns, and customer complaints
- Maintain dispatch records and generate daily/weekly dispatch reports




- Ensure compliance with GST/e-way bill regulations for outward material movement

General

- Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, sales, and logistics teams
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper storage conditions in the warehouse
- Prepare and present MIS reports on stock, dispatch performance, and vehicle utilization
- Support internal/external audits and ensure regulatory compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in any field
- Good understanding of inventory control processes (GRN, stock transfer, stock audit)
- Proven experience in store/warehouse management, preferably in a supervisory role
- Sound understanding of inventory control, stock valuation, and warehouse best practices
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting
- Robust leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination abilities

Preferred Skills

- Experience in manufacturing/industrial store operations
- Knowledge of GST/e-way bill compliance for material movement
- Knowledge of freight/transport cost optimization
- Exposure to vendor coordination and purchase order follow-up
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet trucks) or supervise
- Knowledge of packaging and labeling standards for dispatch
- Understanding of quality inspection basics (visual inspection, batch/lot tracking)
- Experience with multi-location or multi-warehouse stock transfers
- Familiarity with safety compliance (fire safety, MSDS handling for chemicals, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of costing/valuation methods (FIFO, weighted average)
