Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring the availability and sterility of surgical instruments and supplies.

- Support surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.

- Provide emergency support during surgeries and other critical situations.

- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition in the operating room, alerting surgeons to any changes.

- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures.

- Document clinical information accurately and promptly in patient records and surgical logs.

- Ensure the secure handling and disposal of medical waste and sharps in compliance with hospital policies.

- Participate in the post-operative care and monitoring of patients, providing updates to the surgical team as needed.

- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure a smooth surgical experience.
