Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the labor ward, ensuring adherence to established nursing protocols and guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of the labor ward by setting up necessary equipment and supplies for deliveries.
- Monitor the vital signs of mothers and newborns, identifying any changes that require immediate attention.
- Support obstetricians and gynecologists during deliveries and other procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Educate and support mothers on postpartum care and newborn feeding practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation to ensure continuity of care.
- Offer emergency support and interventions as needed to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to patients and families.
- Participate in continuous career development and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in maternity and neonatal care.
