Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
- Administer medications and intravenous therapies as per physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist in emergency situations, providing immediate support and interventions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation of patient care and treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-ICU care procedures.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and standards of nursing practice.
- Participate in regular training and upskilling sessions to stay updated with current ICU nursing practices.
