Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to patients in the operating theatre.

- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile workplace and adherence to protocol.

- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment before, during, and after procedures.

- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes during surgery, providing emergency support as required.

- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation for each patient, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.

- Collaborate with the surgical team to enhance patient care and optimize operating room efficiency.

- Educate patients and their families about the surgical process, recovery, and post-operative care.

- Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest nursing practices and surgical techniques.
