KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Procurement Excellence — Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimisation

- Own total-cost-of-ownership analysis across the group’s largest spend categories, including raw materials, chemicals, fuel and yarn.
- Convert sourcing decisions into structured decision frameworks — such as make-vs-buy thresholds and category strategies balancing in-house capability against outsourced procurement.
- Run competitive-sourcing events and their evaluation, and lead vendor-development and supplier-rationalisation programmes across business units.

Procurement Governance, SOPs & Contract Management

- Establish and enforce procurement SOPs that close recurring operational gaps and prevent downstream production disruption, convening senior-leadership forums to lock decisions.
- Structure, review and redline commercial and supply contracts — supply agreements, lease and service agreements — conducting clause-level commercial and legal analysis alongside the legal function.

Procurement Analytics & Digital Reporting

- Build and maintain procurement, cost and sourcing dashboards in Power BI and Excel to give management live price, spend and cost visibility across business units.

Project Excellence — Capital Investment Appraisal & Feasibility

- Provide end-to-end appraisal for capacity, greenfield and brownfield projects, from problem framing to investment recommendation.
- Own the modelling standard — IRR/DCF, debt-structuring and cash-flow mechanics, break-even and multi-scenario sensitivity — and prepare top-management decks comparing configuration and investment options on capex,



P&L; and returns.

Project Structuring & Deal Execution

- Structure commercial terms and feasibility models for facility takeovers, capacity deals and capital projects, driving them from concept and term sheet to executed agreement.
- Lead infrastructure, capacity and space-planning appraisals that translate business plans into quantified requirements.

Programme Management & Strategic Initiatives (PMO)

- Run governance and delivery cadence for cross-functional strategic initiatives, and contribute financial-structuring and policy analysis to group-level projects as required by the CMD Office.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

- Category and cost-of-ownership analysis across textile and utility spend, with a bias for turning decisions into repeatable SOPs.
- Advanced financial modelling — Excel, IRR/DCF, debt-structuring mechanics, sensitivity and scenario analysis.
- Commercial and contract literacy sufficient to structure and redline term sheets, leases and supply agreements alongside legal.
- Procurement analytics and management reporting — Power BI, dashboards, board-ready decks.
- Structured problem-solving from ambiguous mandate to quantified, defensible recommendation.

QUALIFICATION

- Prior strategy, procurement or project experience, ideally in a promoter/Chairman’s-office setting.

CA with 3-4 years of experience having FP&A; background will be preferred.
