Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and technically competent Senior Engineer - Plant Facilities & Infrastructure to manage end-to-end plant utilities, civil infrastructure upkeep, and facility enhancement projects at our manufacturing plant. The position reports to the Deputy Manager Administration and is responsible for site project coordination, contractor governance, utility uptime, Capex/Opex tracking, and statutory safety audit compliance.

Key Responsibilities :-

- Oversee complete operation, preventive upkeep, and breakdown maintenance of central plant utilities including power transformers, HT/LT panels, switchgear, and PCC/MCC panels.
- Manage uninterrupted operation of plant power backup systems, high-capacity DG sets, and power distribution networks.
- Supervise daily performance and scheduled maintenance of industrial HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, and air supply units.
- Ensure peak efficiency and reliability of compressed air utility systems, screw/centrifugal compressors, and associated air dryers.
- Direct the operation and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS), including CCTV surveillance, Public Address (PA) systems, and access controls.
- Supervise canteen, smart kitchen equipment, and drinking water facilities to ensure hygienic,



uninterrupted administrative service.
- Source, evaluate, and manage service providers and contractors for plant electrical, utility, and facility maintenance activities.
- Administer Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), negotiate vendor service rates, and establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for critical utilities.
- Prepare and monitor the annual plant utility and administration Capex and Opex budgets to avoid unauthorized variance.
- Drive energy management, load optimization, and utility cost-saving themes across electricity, fuel, and air networks.
- Maintain comprehensive utility logbooks, equipment maintenance history sheets, equipment breakdown reports, and statutory records.
- Prepare and update Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Aspect-Impact documentation across all utility and facility areas.

Preferred candidate profile :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in plant utilities & facilities , electrical project coordination and plant maintenance.
- Robust exposure to contractor supervision, rate negotiation, and bill verification.
- Practical knowledge of factory safety guidelines, Capex/Opex tracking, and MIS reporting using MS Excel
